Quanita Joseph is a speaker, educator, and founder specializing in structured literacy, dyslexia intervention, and scalable reading systems.
For more than 14 years, I have worked across multiple levels of education, as a classroom teacher, public-school dyslexia interventionist, instructional coach, educator trainer, and now founder of Stellarwise Learning, a virtual structured literacy program that has served students across 42+ states.
My work began in the classroom, where I saw students receive tutoring, additional practice, and intervention without anyone identifying the specific reading skills they had not yet mastered. Too often, children were described simply as "behind," while gaps in decoding, fluency, vocabulary, or comprehension went undetected and unaddressed.
That experience led me deeper into the science of reading, structured literacy, and data-driven intervention. I later trained and coached 2,700+ educators in using student data to design stronger Tier 2 and Tier 3 instructional systems. My educator-development work reached teachers in several countries and extended across literacy, math, science, and social studies, strengthening my understanding of how effective instructional systems are built and sustained.
Today, I bring those experiences together through Stellarwise Learning, where we identify the precise skills holding students back and provide targeted instruction designed to create measurable reading growth.
My work is also informed by my background in psychology, which helps me approach literacy through both an instructional and developmental lens. At the center of everything I do is a simple belief: children make meaningful progress when we stop giving them more of the same and start giving them the instruction they actually need.
My work spans direct intervention, program design, and educator training, all grounded in the same evidence-based approach.
Orton-Gillingham and Science of Reading-based instruction for students with dyslexia and reading gaps.
Building and scaling virtual literacy programs, including Stellarwise's K-8 model used across 42+ states.
Trained 2,700+ teachers internationally on building data-driven Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention programs, across literacy, math, science, and social studies.
Helping educators use AI to interpret reading data, plan targeted intervention, create differentiated practice, and reduce preparation time while keeping instructional decisions grounded in teacher expertise.
Training teachers to read their own data, build Tier 2 reading groups, teach the targeted lessons, and rotate small groups so every student gets support in class.
Professional development on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for immersion bilinguals, including TELPAS-aligned training.
I speak on structured literacy, dyslexia intervention, and how to scale reading programs that actually move outcomes.

Keynoteof 2,500+ students grew at least one full grade level in reading within 12 weeks. Behind every number is a student who was told they were behind, and a family who didn't know where to turn. Stellarwise exists to change that story, one student at a time.
"My son scored a 2 on the Florida FAST test in Reading. The Stellarwise program really helped my son achieve a 4 by the end of 5th grade."
"My grandson was reading about 2 years behind and was failing his classes, and the school was considering retention. Ms. Quanita did a reading diagnostic, created his learning plan, and even attended an IEP meeting. He's now on track to be on grade level by summer."
"My son's end of year MAP for ELA reading not only exceeded the growth expectations for the year, but also exceeded the national average. Ms. Quanita will also serve as an advocate when working with school districts."
